When the Cards are Warning...

My cards keep warning me about someone who is going to be trying to trick or deceive me, bad advice, and things like that. It's starting to get me paranoid. Anyone have any advice on this? I'm a bit unsure of how to proceed. When I ask what I can do, it just says trust myself and everything will be fine.

Believe it or not, a few days after I posted this I sidestepped a conversation with someone I didn't trust. I now haven't seen the cards say that since.
